A Healthy, Balanced Day
Enrichment Dog Day Care strives to create a healthy and balanced day for your furry friend by providing personalized attention, exercise, socialization, rest, learning, and love. Our team understands that each dog has unique needs and preferences. Here are the ways we achieve this:
- Play, Exercise, and Socialization: We believe that playtime and exercise are essential for maintaining a healthy weight, muscle tone, and positive mood in dogs. Our indoor and outdoor play areas are designed for small and large groups. We consider your dog’s age, personality, and comfort level to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Rest: After playtime and socialization, rest and relaxation are crucial for your dog’s well-being. We incorporate rest periods throughout the day to help your dog recharge and prevent overstimulation.
- Learning: Our trained staff uses positive training techniques to promote safe play and healthy social behaviors in dogs. Dogs learn from humans and other dogs, and we encourage them to teach each other appropriate social behavior.
- Love: We treat your dog like family and strive to create a bond that helps them feel comfortable and confident while in our care. With regular attendance, we get to know your dog’s personality, needs, and preferences, allowing us to recognize any behavioral changes, moods, or health issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Commitment to Safety
At our facility, the safety and well-being of our furry guests is our highest priority. As devoted dog owners ourselves, we recognize the significance of treating each dog as if they were a part of our own family. That’s why we’re committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for all dogs in our care.
Frequently Asked Questions
It’s easy! Just find your local store and click Enroll Now to create your online account and complete our online registration form or call the location to speak with an associate.
To speed up the registration process, please have available: veterinarian contact information, an emergency contact (other than yourself or your partner), pet information & medical history, and credit card information (optional). We will ask you a series of questions about your dog’s training and social history. These questions help us get to know them and provide the best care possible.
Rest periods can be paired with fun and interactive food toys (like a frozen peanut butter Kong) to create a rest period enrichment activity for your dog.
Not only are rest period enrichments fun and mentally stimulating for your dog, but they also help build positive associations and crating skills. Hence, dogs are calmer, quieter, and more relaxed. For dogs, being comfortable in a crate is a life skill that is incredibly useful for them and their owners.
Did you know? Scientific studies have shown that licking and chewing behaviors (especially those that involve food rewards!) are self-soothing, decrease heart and respiratory rates, and even release dopamine in a dog’s brain.
Dog day care gives dogs a fun place to play with their friends while their owners are busy at home and work.
At Central Bark®, doggy daycare is our specialty, and nobody does it quite like us. We don’t just give dogs a place to play. We create a personalized program of activities that optimize your dog’s whole health – their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Central Bark goes beyond a traditional doggy day care with our unique Whole Dog Care philosophy. Our personalized approach helps enrich your dog’s whole health and well-being throughout their entire life so you can enjoy a healthy, happy, and loving life together.
The heart of our whole dog care approach is our Enrichment Doggy Day Care program. We combine Central Bark’s industry-leading doggy day care expertise with the latest dog behavior science. Our mission is to give dogs a balanced blend of exercise, social group play, learning, rest, and TLC. To help your dog be a healthy, happy, calm, and well-rounded member of your family.
There’s no bond like the one between our furry best friends and us. We love our dogs and want to give them the best life possible. But it can be challenging to fulfill all their needs to stay healthy and happy for a lifetime. Doggy day care gives pups a place to play and learn in a safe environment, with the socialization, mental stimulation, and physical exercise their minds and bodies need to stay healthy for a lifetime.
- Dogs get to socialize. Dogs are social creatures. Positive experiences with new humans, new dogs, and new environments are essential to a well-rounded pup.
- Dogs learn social skills. Dogs learn from other dogs – they’re always teaching each other what is (and isn’t) appropriate social behavior. Doggy day care staff can also help support safe play and practice healthy social behaviors.
- Dogs get more exercise. Exercise helps your dog maintain a healthy weight and muscle tone while improving their mood and providing a healthy outlet for their physical and mental energy, meaning they can be more relaxed at home.
- Dogs get human attention. Your dog will get the care and love they need while you’re at work or school.
- Parents get a break. Doggy day care can give you a day off from responsibilities, while your dog gets what they need to be a healthier, more well-adjusted pet.
