Leading the Pack at Central Bark Sheboygan, Karlee has been working in the pet care industry for over 13 years, combining hands-on experience with a lifelong passion for animals. Certified in Pet CPR and trained in cat grooming, she brings both knowledge and heart to her role as Manager at Central Bark.
Every day, Karlee enjoys greeting the overnight pups, welcoming clients, and supporting the team—often stepping into playgroups herself to give staff breaks and spend time with the dogs. “Of course, the dogs are my favorite part of this job,” she says. “But the employees are definitely a close second.”
At home, Karlee shares her life with a lively crew of pets—4 dogs, 4 cats, a ferret, 2 guinea pigs, a rabbit, 2 turtles, and a snake. She especially loves working with mixed-breed dogs who may start out nervous, finding it rewarding to help them build confidence and flourish.
Since joining Central Bark Sheboygan, Karlee has embraced the opportunity to create a safe, fun environment where every dog is treated like her own. Guided by her favorite quote—“Your dog may only be here for part of your life, but for your dog you are their whole life”—she leads with care, empathy, and joy for the dogs and the people who love them.
