Meet Gus, Our June Dog of the Month
This month, we are excited to celebrate Gus as our June Dog of the Month at Central Bark Sheboygan!
Gus is a handsome Bluetick Hound who has been part of our pack since 2023. He first started coming to Central Bark Sheboygan just one week after his first birthday, and he has been a loyal Thursday day care regular ever since. Gus also joins us for sleepovers, making him a familiar and much-loved face around our facility.

Life in the Orange Playgroup
Gus spends his day care days in our Orange playgroup, where his classic hound personality shines. He enjoys being with his dog friends, taking part in the daily routine, and making sure everyone knows he is present.
And by “knows he is present,” we mean Gus likes to sing.
Whether he is baying, vocalizing, or giving the group a full hound-style performance, Gus brings a lot of fun and personality to his playgroup. His singing is one of the many things that makes him such a memorable member of our Central Bark Sheboygan dog day care family.
A Loyal Thursday Regular
Since joining us in 2023, Gus has made Thursdays his day. His consistent routine has helped him become a familiar part of the pack, and our team always enjoys having him here.
He has also stayed with us for sleepovers, so Gus knows Central Bark Sheboygan is not just a place for day care fun — it is also a place where he can relax, settle in, and enjoy extra time with people who know and care about him.
