Meet Wrigley! Wrigley is a very cute five year old Coton du Tulear who has been enjoying play dates at Central Bark since December 2012. From his very first day, we learned we needed to be ready once we opened his crate [for playtime]; he leaps out with such excitement right into our waiting arms. Give this pup a cape and he might literally fly around the crate room! Below are some more fun tidbits about this adorable little man:
– He was originally cast for the role of Mr. Farley on a sequel to Three’s Company but turned it down because they didn’t have a wide enough variety of bandanas & scarves for his character.
– In 1982 Wrigley owned a record store, but sadly it went out of business because Wrigley refused to sell anything but Perry Como albums. His current favorite group is New Kids on the Block.
– Because he is a Coton du Tulear, Wrigley likes to hoard cotton balls…just because.
– His favorite sport used to be curling but he gave it up in protest once it became popular during the 2008 Olympics.
– Wrigley is a huge Patrick Duffy fan and owns all the seasons of Step By Step and Dallas.
– He likes to tell the ladies that he is the sole heir to the Wrigley Chewing Gum company. When pressed for more information, he will quickly change the topic by saying “squirrel!!!!”
– Wrigley’s favorite baseball team is the Pittsburgh Pirates. When he attends games he will wrap his bandana around his head, wear an eye patch and rent a parrot for the day.
