Meet Penelope and Fresa! Penelope has been playing here at Central Bark since June 2011 while her adopted sister, Fresca, joined her in August 2012. Throughout the years their parents have fostered many dogs and these two sweethearts enjoy sharing their toys with them….treats on the other hand… that’s another story! Listed below are some fascinating accomplishments these two sisters have endeavored.
- Penelope and Fresca are lovingly referred to as “pasta fresca” here at The Bark. However, they are not fans of Italian cuisine and instead have spent years perfecting their favorite Asian recipes which gave birth to a booming restaurant franchise (PF Changs).
- These two love to patrol around the group gathering intel, all in an effort to locate the hidden stash of treats using good cop/bad cop techniques.
- Our Central Bark growl interpreters have successfully interpreted most of Fresca’s playtime growling; 90% of the time it is a simple “girl power” and the other 10% she’s saying “TELL ME I’M PRETTY!”
- Penelope and Fresca love to watch reruns of Xena Warrior Princess and Welcome Back Kotter.
- Their favorite musical group is the Spice Girls. When they perform karaoke, Penelope likes to portray Posh Spice and Fresca likes to be Ginger Spice.
- Penelope and Fresca are determined to portray the Haynes sisters in White Christmas. They’ve watched the movie 87 times this summer and have the lines memorized. They are waiting anxiously for a local theater to hold auditions.
