Meet Rose! Rose is a lovely four-year-old golden retriever that has been spending many days romping at the Bark since January 2015. It’s been a joy watching her “blossom” into the beauty that she is today. Below are some more “facts” on this lovely lady:
– Rose comes from a family of musicians and their band name is called Vicious Schwa. Although they don’t actually sing or play instruments, they describe themselves as “the Quintessential MTV Band. They don’t play music and neither do we”.
– Her favorite genre of music is heavy metal from the 1980s. Her favorite band (besides Vicious Schwa) is Guns N’ Roses and her favorite song is Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” She likes the song because it gives her an excuse to be sassy. She was disappointed she wasn’t born yet to be part of the reality show “Rock of Love” with Bret Michaels.
– Her favorite color is red and she enjoys getting decked out in Ohio State football gear. She gets very excited and ready for dinner whenever she hears her dad talking about the Rose Bowl.
– When out at the bars, she will switch between shots of Tequila Rose and Miller Lite.
– The other pups love her positive attitude; she attributes her happy demeanor to her rose-colored glasses.
– Nobody will watch Citizen Kane with her anymore because she always spoils the ending by telling everyone what Rosebud is ten minutes into movie.
– Rose has had a huge crush on Leonardo DiCaprio ever since she saw the movie Titanic. She wrote Leonardo a letter asking him to sketch a nude portrait of her, where she will only be wearing a blue diamond collar; she is still waiting for a reply.
– Rose’s favorite flower is the Monkey Face Orchid.
