Daisy and Rose, 2 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd litter mates, are our herding team. Actually Daisy (brown & white) herds Rose (black & white); Rose would rather play fetch than herd. Daisy is the more laid back of the two. She loves a good belly rub, and one-on-one attention from the canine caregivers or other dogs. She will come up in front of you, and then sit and look up at you. You just can’t resist petting her and telling her what a good girl she is. Rose is an avid ball player. She looks from the ball to you repeatedly until you pick up the ball and throw it. She fetches it and then will toss it towards you and look from the ball to you and back again until you pick it up and throw it again. Rose would love to do this all day long! Daisy and Rose started day care when they were 6 months old and we feel privileged to have witnessed their upbringing. They are two very fine and smart young ladies. Th eir overnight stays at Central Bark are fun and stress free because they feel right at home here and because they have each other. Of course, they are thrilled to see Mom and Dad at the end of their stay; as they should be! Shine on Daisy and Rose! This is your month!
Congrats, Daisy & Rose!
