Meet Rocky! Rocky is a three year old handsome Elkhound that has been coming to Central Bark since May 2012. You don’t see many Elkhounds around here, especially ones as handsome as this guy. Other than Rocky, the only other Elkhound to play at Central Bark was Loki (who had the same parents). Rocky always has a strut in his step and is ready for anything; he’s exuberant, confident and friendly. Below are some more characteristics for Rocky (courtesy of our fabulous handlers):
- Rocky believes himself to be descended from a long line of Boxers. As such, he mainly socializes with other Boxers while at Central Bark.
- His best friends are Norman and Rocky (both Boxers) and he’s rumored to be in a long term relationship with Lucy (another Boxer).
- Rocky listens to the song “Eye of the Tiger” every morning to pump himself up for the day. It’s also his ring tone.
- After seeing the movie “Rocky”, he decided to try raw eggs for breakfast, but when his mom saw the mess he made, she decided he had to stick to kibble.
- Rocky considers himself a “foodie” and will eat anything twice, even if it’s not edible.
- His favorite actor is David Hasselhoff and his favorite show TV show comedy is “Mr. Belvidere.”
- He is saving up for a trip to Scotland so he can wear a kilt and show off his bagpipe “skillz” (he made us put a “z” on skills).
