Meet Piper! Piper is a five year old border terrier that has been coming to Central Bark since August 2009. Piper loves the TLC she gets from handlers and loves to chew on the Kong toys. In fact, if “Kong chewing” was an Olympic sport, she would definitely have a few gold medals under her belt. Below are some more Piper tidbits that we would like to share: – Piper will occasionally supervise the play group and she is not afraid to tell her fellow canine buddies to “pipe down!” when they get out of line. Of course she thinks it’s a hilarious play on words… but she’s the only one laughing. – She wants to go to medical school so she can be referred to as Dr. Piper. – Piper is a huge WWF fan and favorite wrestler is Rowdy Roddy Piper. – When asked why she sits in the pool so much, she responds “I’m just cleaning the pipes.” – One of Piper’s favorite movies is King Kong. – Her favorite soft rock duo is Hall & Oats. – She was originally cast to star in Beverly Hills Chihuahua. However, due to a long running feud with actress Piper Perabo, she was fired before filming began. – Piper is currently taking flute classes so she can become the next Pied Piper. – She has been trying unsuccessfully for years to grow her hair long enough to have pigtails like Pippi Longstocking. – When Piper orders a pizza she always orders extra black olives and piper-oni…just because she can.
