Meet Boone! Boone is a very handsome and well-mannered chocolate lab who has been coming to Central Bark since February 2013, when he was just a wee little pup. We enjoy watching mom drop off Boone for day care; she has Boone sit nicely for few seconds before he gets the okay. Then we laugh as Boone races to the door as fast as the handler will let him. Below are some important things to know about Boone:
– Boone has many similar characteristics to chocolate…the coloring of course, the sweetness and the effect he has on the ladies!
– After learning about the great pioneer Daniel Boone, Boone now spends hours in the library pouring over history books and playing the Oregon Trail video game from 1985.
– In his younger wilder years, he liked to guzzle down Strawberry Boone’s Farm [a cheap] wine. As he has matured, he prefers cosmopolitans.
– Boone won the Chocolate Champion award for two years straight for his amazing fudge cookie recipe. However, mom won’t let him eat any because he will get sick.
– He has sent numerous letters to the Ty Inc. toy company asking them to rename Beanie Babies to Boonie Babies. He is still waiting for a response.
– The most played songs in Boone’s itunes playlist include the Wedding Singer soundtrack and Boombastic by Shaggy.
– Boone was a little disappointed when he discovered the movie, Boondock Saints, was NOT a story loosely based on his life.
