Meet Cooper! Cooper is an adorable five year old coton de tulear/maltese mix that has been coming to Central Bark for a long time….since October 2009! We are so blessed to have known him [most] his entire life and we’ve enjoyed watching Cooper grow and mature into the little man he is. Those that don’t know Cooper can learn a few things from some fun trivia bits below:
- Cooper is planning on campaigning to be the next mayor for Grayslake. If elected, his first order of business is to change the name of the city to Cooperstown.
- In an effort to impress the ladies, Cooper has claimed to be related to Alice Cooper.
- He is a huge ABBA fan, his favorite song being “Super Trooper.”
- In his younger rebellious years, he was affiliated with a group of hoodlums known as the Cottontails; which was comprised mainly of bichons and malteses. He still proudly wears his white leather gang jacket.
- Cooper recently graduated from puppeteer school. He has a team called the Maltese Marionettes that perform shows at local summer festivals and after school programs.
- You can feel the bass vibrations Thursday mornings when he rolls up in his tricked up Mini Cooper.
- He dreams to open his own doggy day care and call it “Hanging with Mr. Cooper.”
- Cooper has a man crush on Bradley Cooper and is president of the Midwest region Bradley Cooper fan club.
Cooper we absolutely adore you! Even though you are little, you bring us a tremendous amount of joy! Congratulations Mr. October!!!
