Meet The Pack Leaders!

Linda (with Gabe, Cooper and Haley)

Owner

After many years spent as a corporate controller, Linda stopped to reflect on her career goals for the future. She felt that her experiences in corporate accounting, human resources, and as a member of the management team prepared her to move to the next level – running her own business.

Why dogs? Linda has always had a soft spot in her heart for her furry companions, from the mix breed that kindly tolerated her as a toddler to the three dogs that she has today, they have all been special members of her family. When Linda learned about Central Bark Doggy Day Care, she knew it was meant to be.

What is so great about Central Bark Doggy Day Care?  Although some may think doggy day care is frivolous, our doggy parents have learned that the benefits make it totally worthwhile.  Puppies who attend doggy day care grow up to be well-adjusted dogs.  Shy dogs gain confidence and become more out-going.  High energy dogs that tend to get into trouble at home calm down and behave.  Dogs are social animals and they LOVE playing with their friends.  All of the social interaction combined with the physical exertion while playing is more effective in tiring out a high energy dog than taking them out running.  At doggy day care, they use their minds in addition to using their bodies.  Central Bark Doggy Day Care is truly the best way to love your dog!

Linda is certified in Pet First Aid and attends seminars on dog behavior.

Pictured with Linda are her 3 canine kids - Gabe, a Golden Retriever, Cooper, a Beagle/Aussie mix, and Haley, a Beagle/Hound mix.   Not pictured is Chuck, her significant other, who has been extremely supportive of her business.

Meet Our Groomer!

Gina (with Koda, Kane, liko) Orginally from Rockford, Illinois, Gina moved to Sheboygan eight years ago. Her lifelong love of animals drew her to pet grooming as a profession. Gina attended the Wisconsin School of Pet Grooming in 1999 and has been in "the best job I've ever had" ever since. She brought her many years of dog and cat grooming experience to Central Bark in May 2012. Whether it's a breed specific haircut or just a bath and nail trim, Gina has a way wth animals that puts even the most nervous at ease.

Dog of the Month!

Congrats, Wrigley!

Wrigley, a 5 year old Blue Heeler mix, has been wowing us with his high jumps to catch the ball since November of 2008. Although he will play tug-of-war, and even wrestle once in a while, his first love is definitely fetch! Wrigley and Kona, his younger Goldendoodle sister, are just like a human older brother and a pesty younger sister. Kona is always looking for attention from Wrigley and Wrigley is annoyed but very tolerant. Deep down, we know he loves her! When the family goes out of town, they both stay overnight at Central Bark where Wrigley can play fetch ‘til his heart’s content. Enjoy your time in the spotlight Wrigley!
