Meet Piper! Piper is a vivacious four-year-old beagle that has been coming to Central Bark since October 2014. Piper has a huge heart (besides the heart shaped spot on her side) and has a passion for food, fun and her boyfriend Shamrock; a wheaten terrier. Below are some more fascinating facts on this beautiful lady.
- Piper has an impressive set of pipes on her; she was once approached by Wes Craven to play a victim in his next movie.
- She loves to belt out the Whitney Houston classic “I Will Always Love You” to Shamrock whenever they are crated next to one another.
- Piper claims to have once solved a Rubik’s Cube by ingesting it. When it “passed,” it came out one color.
- She is a huge fan of Michael J. Fox and will spend hours binge watching old episodes of Family Ties. She has been saving up for months in hopes to purchase a signed puffy red vest; allegedly the one worn by Fox in Back to the Future.
- She took two years of flute lessons in hopes to be the next Pied Piper but instead of luring rats or children away, she wanted the squirrels to follow so she could then turn around and chase them.
- Piper once tried out for the role of Snoopy in a local College of Lake County production of The Great Pumpkin. When she didn’t get the role, Piper went home and shredded 50 boxes of tissue and then went back and tee-peed the bushes in front of the auditorium entrance.
- Piper’s dream is to one day own a plumbing business and name it Piper’s Pipes. Never mind she doesn’t have any plumbing experience. Plan B is to open a smoking lounge (same name of course).
