Meet Rocky and Lucy! These fun loving boxers love to tear it up and have a good time here at Central Bark. They both started as young pups (Rocky was 4 months and started in April 2011) and Lucy started last July at the age of three months (she looked like a Boston terrier as a baby!). Rocky and Lucy are members of the boxer “clique” and both love boxing/playing with their other boxer buddies. As a matter of fact, Rocky has had a love affair with Bobi, the boxer, for quite some time. Lucy prefers to stay single and play the field. Below are some other fun “facts” that our handlers came up with regarding these two special pups: – The only time they fight is when they are fighting crime, deciding who plays the role of the sidekick. They are currently looking for other boxers to join their Justice League and are accepting applications for Aqua Man, the Flash and Wonder Woman. – Rocky’s favorite actor is Sylvester Stallone. Lucy’s favorite television show is “Xena, the Warrior Princess”. – Rocky stays up all night practicing his growl while glaring in the mirror. However, it’s hard to take him seriously with that big ole’ tongue of his that is always hanging out! Lucy attends Rocky’s growling class three nights a week and is quizzed every Saturday. – Rocky claims that his growl is an attempt to portray a Tyrannosaurus-raptor (a Velociraptor mixed with a T-rex). According to Rocky “it’s pretty much my favorite dinosaur.” – Lucy is a talented Irish step dancer and has been on tour with the Riverdance Company. However, she and Michael Flatley had a huge spat over politics and she was asked to leave the dance group.
