Heeeeeerrrrreeeee’s Penny! Penny is a sweet little beagle who has been coming to Central Bark since August 2011. She began as just a teeny weenie puppy and we have had the pleasure to watch this pretty girl grow up into the confident and playful lady that she is today. Below are the fun facts our handlers came up with for sweet Penny: – Penny never has issues with making friends. In fact, if she was a high school student, she would be that one who could sit at ANY lunch table she wanted. – She hopes to one day be a gymnast, for the sole purpose of being able to say “watch me flip a coin.” (because her name is “penny”…get it?) – She is currently involved in a long term relationship with Beanie, one of our handler’s dogs. They need to be chaperoned constantly. – She prefers playing with her fellow canines versus TLC time with the handlers. Her besties include Sooshi, Morgan and Baxter. – If she could talk, she would start off each conversation with “A penny for your thoughts…” – Penny will spend hours practicing her beagle howl in hopes of making it on Star Search with Ed McMahon. We didn’t have the heart to tell her that show went off the air decades ago. Nonetheless, her favorite song to sing is “Shout” by Tears for Fears. – On the weekends Penny likes to hang out at the mall with her friends to shop and check out the latest nail polish colors and read Teen Beat at Barnes & Noble.
