I LOVE this place! This is a one-stop shop for (most of) your dogs needs. Daycare, sleepovers, grooming, enrichment, training, as well as treats, toys and select food items are all available at Central Bark Eugene. The staff are kind, loving, and trustworthy. The facility is just what the dogs need. Central Bark Eugene is a second home for Nala. She started going to Central Park as a puppy. She trusts and loves the staff, and when she knows she is going to daycare or a sleepover, she can’t wait to go see her friends. When we have to go out of town, we can relax, knowing she is in trusted and safe hands. After a sleepover of a few days, I can schedule for her to have a bath so she is clean and smells great at pick up. đ I only wish Nala was still a puppy so she could participate in Puppy Hour!

After a day at Central Bark Ryder, our pup, comes home exhausted. She gets to meet so many dogs (and people) of all sizes. When we pull up to Central Bark she runs through the door up the ramp she is so excited. đ
There is absolutely a reason why this place has five stars and let me tell you I will never take my dog to another place. We found ourselves in a very distressing situation and these lovely humans who work for this incredible doggy daycare took in our puppy and loved her as much as we do. We couldnât be more thankful for the AMAZING staff who stepped in during one of our darkest hours and helped lighten the load on a very heavy situation. Forever grateful is an understatement. If you want your pup treated like family, this IS the place HAND DOWN!
My dog Lucky has been âluckyâ to go to Central Bark since he was a young. He absolutely loves going and is very comfortable there. I have boarded him there numerous times and always feel he is safe and happy when Iâm away.

After rescuing my Charlie I knew I need some help with him socializing and a safe place to stay when I need to travel. Everyone at central bark has been soo great with Charlie and letting his personality and zoomies out! Itâs so convenient to have grooming available when he is there!

Do you offer dog birthday parties?
Yes! We love to celebrate our dog friendsâ birthdays. You can rent space in our facility to celebrate, then bring in your treats and decorations. Or you can have us plan and run your entire event.Â

What is dog grooming?
Dog grooming helps keep your dog clean, healthy, and comfortable. It can include anything from a simple brush-out or bath to a full spa day, complete with a grooming session and nail care.
All dogs are unique. Just like humans, your dog deserves personalized grooming for their size, breed, coat type, and condition. Please ask an associate for details.

How are staff trained and what behavior management tools do they use in a playgroup?
Our staff is trained in dog body language and positive playgroup management techniques so they can respond proactively to help avoid issues between dogs. These tools include praise, treats, and work on important Group Play Skills daily like name recall, group sits, and going calmly in and out of doorways and gates. If a dog ever becomes overstimulated during play (just like kids do on the playground sometimes) we use these practiced skills to help redirect dogs into more desired behaviors (like coming to us and offering a sit for a treat) which gives the dog a chance to reset and calm down. When needed, we also utilize play breaks (a short rest in an individual crate) or in-group leash walks if a dog needs a little more help to bring their energy levels back down.
What should I bring to Doggy Day Care?
Once you have enrolled, we will need a copy of your dogâs vaccination records, which you can upload to your online account or bring with you on your scheduled first day. We also ask that your dog comes in on a regular 6-foot flat leash (no retractable or flexi-leads in the lobby) and a quick-release collar. Not sure what a quick-release collar is? No problem! Weâll be happy to show you on your first day. If your dog usually wears a harness while walking, youâre welcome to bring that as well.
If your dog typically eats a midday meal, you can bring it in an airtight container clearly labeled with your dogâs first and last names.
