Enrichment Specialists are trained to identify and interpret dog body language and help dogs practice safe social skills during play periods. They use positive reward-based techniques, including treats and Group Play Skills such as name recall, to reinforce desired behaviors, redirect dogs when needed, and help keep play safe and fun.
Grooming frequency depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, coat length and condition, skin, lifestyle, and the services they need. Some dogs benefit from more frequent brushing, bathing, or coat maintenance, while others need professional grooming less often. A Central Bark groomer can help recommend a schedule based on your individual dog’s needs to help keep them clean, healthy, and comfortable.
Safety is built into the Central Bark Enrichment Day Care program. Dogs complete our enrollment and Behavior Assessment process, and dogs enrolled in day care attend at least once per week to help maintain familiarity with the people, dogs, environment, and routine. Group play is always supervised, and our teams proactively plan staffing and manage play to support safe, positive experiences.
