We always trust them and like their system of playing and resting built-in. I also like that they keep their groups small so there are not too many dogs together at one time.

I LOVE this place! This is a one-stop shop for (most of) your dogs needs. Daycare, sleepovers, grooming, enrichment, training, as well as treats, toys and select food items are all available at Central Bark Eugene. The staff are kind, loving, and trustworthy. The facility is just what the dogs need. Central Bark Eugene is a second home for Nala. She started going to Central Park as a puppy. She trusts and loves the staff, and when she knows she is going to daycare or a sleepover, she can’t wait to go see her friends. When we have to go out of town, we can relax, knowing she is in trusted and safe hands. After a sleepover of a few days, I can schedule for her to have a bath so she is clean and smells great at pick up. 🙂 I only wish Nala was still a puppy so she could participate in Puppy Hour!

How long does dog training take?

It’s also important to consider how much time each family has for daily training practice.

Whether you’re crate training, leash walking, or potty training your pup, consistency is key. It’s crucial to establish a routine, practice positive reinforcement, supervise your puppy (especially when potty training), and avoid punishing your puppy when mistakes happen.

Can a puppy be boarded?

Yes. We offer sleepovers to puppies and dogs enrolled in our Enrichment Day Care. Sleepovers at Central Bark® provide your dog a calm, relaxing sleepover in a place they can feel comfortable and loved. Because they’re in a familiar place, they can feel less stressed about being away from home (and so will you). A full day of Doggy Day Care is complimentary with your sleepover stay.

Is 5 months too old to train a puppy?

Not at all! It’s never too early or too late to begin building positive associations and using reward-based methods to teach your puppy new skills and behaviors.

Establish a training schedule now to help your puppy learn desired behaviors like walking nicely on a leash and basic cues like sit, stay, and loose-leash walking. Practicing these skills at home is critical, but it’s always a good idea to enlist the help of a professional to get a jump start teaching your puppy all the things you want them to know and set them up for success! How can I be sure that the play space is clean, odor & disease-free, comfortable and safe for the stated capacity of the center?

Central Bark® is licensed and inspected by the Health Department regularly. We also clean and disinfect nightly, regardless of how many dogs have visited.
