February Pupdates!

February is here, and we’re feeling the love at Central Bark Oak Creek.
From Valentine’s-themed enrichment and fun challenges to exciting new opportunities for puppies, this month is all about connection, growth, and celebrating the dogs who make our days so special.

No matter how your pup is spending time with us — daycare, enrichment, training, or grooming — we’re grateful to be part of their routine and your journey. Thank you for being part of our pack. We can’t wait to share everything we have planned for February!

Gus has completely stolen our hearts, and we’re so excited to name him our February Dog of the Month! From the moment he walks through the doors, Gus brings a calm, happy presence to the pack.

He’s the perfect balance of playful and easygoing. Gus enjoys spending time with his friends, but he also knows when it’s time to relax and recharge. That ability to self-regulate makes him a wonderful influence in group play.

Gus consistently shows great manners with both dogs and handlers. He’s confident, social, and makes thoughtful choices throughout the day — the kind of pup who helps keep the group balanced and running smoothly. Whether he’s participating in enrichment, hanging out with his buddies, or soaking up attention from the team, Gus approaches each moment with a steady, happy attitude.

We’re so proud of Gus and all the progress he continues to make. We absolutely love having him as part of our Central Bark Oak Creek family. Congratulations, Gus — you deserve all the extra love this month!

February is all about love — PUPPY LOVE — and this month we’re putting a special focus on our youngest pack members. Along with plenty of Valentine’s-themed fun, we’re rolling out new opportunities designed to help puppies learn, socialize, and build confidence.

We’re excited to introduce our very first Puppy Preschool Training Saturdays! These sessions are designed to help puppies build strong foundations in a fun, supportive environment.

Classes will run Saturdays from 12:00–1:00 PM, with the first class starting February 21st. Puppy Preschool focuses on basic skills, confidence-building, and positive early learning experiences.

We’re also thrilled to relaunch our Free Puppy Hour, happening Saturdays from 1:00–2:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for puppies to safely socialize, explore the daycare environment, and begin their Central Bark journey in a positive and structured way.

Available all month long, this special one-on-one enrichment experience features a Valentine’s-themed treat scavenger hunt paired with an adorable photo of your pup.

It’s a fun, engaging way to give your dog some extra individual attention — plus a sweet keepsake you’ll love.

One of our most popular rest-period enrichment treats is back! This heart-shaped frozen treat is made with just two simple ingredients: chopped strawberries and peanut butter.

It’s a perfect way to add a little extra love to your pup’s daycare day. You can also ask about taking one home.

After seeing how much fun everyone had with our January Whipped Cream Race Challenge, we’re bringing the competition back!

During the weeks of February 9th and February 16th, pups can participate in our Valentine Puzzle Challenge. Each dog will have 30 seconds to find as many treats as possible in the puzzle. We’ll crown one winner each week.

Entry is $5, and each weekly winner will receive a free day of daycare or $35 in store credit. Let the puzzle-solving fun begin!

In January, we were excited to welcome two new pups to the Central Bark Oak Creek pack — both referred by our pack member Frodo and his dad. We love seeing our community grow through referrals, and these two have already made a great impression.

Lambeau is a playful, happy-go-lucky toasted golden who brings wonderful energy to the group. He’s been settling in beautifully, making fast friends, and embracing everything daycare has to offer.

Sophie D is an adorable baby Bernedoodle with a silly, affectionate personality. She adores the big dogs and has been having a blast following her larger friends around, soaking up every moment of play and connection.

We’re so happy to have Lambeau and Sophie D join the pack. A big thank you to Frodo and his dad for sharing the Central Bark love!

At Central Bark Oak Creek, everything we do is rooted in one simple truth: we’re here for the dogs.

From how our days are structured to the way we approach enrichment, rest, play, and training, every decision is made with each dog’s well-being in mind. In our latest blog post, For the Love of the Dogs, we share more about the philosophy behind our care.

It’s a closer look at why intentional structure matters, how enrichment supports happy and healthy dogs, and what makes our approach different — all guided by the love we have for every dog who walks through our doors.

If you love us as much as we love having you as a part of the Central Bark Oak Creek Community, please take a moment to rate and review us on Google or Facebook! Or tell a friend, and get a free day of day care with your successful referral!
