Meet Oakley! Oakley is a very handsome four-year-old English Setter who has been playing at the Bark for the last three years. Each week he saunters in with his tail wagging, eager to have a fun day with his friends. Oakley is kind, compassionate and fluent in four languages (including cat). Below are some more fun tidbits on this amazing boy:
- Despite his name being Oakley, he prefers wearing Blu Blockers sunglasses and every chance he gets, he will rap the infamous commercial from the 1990s.
- Oakley is a HUGE Simpson’s fan and he plans on changing his last name to Doakley.
- After months of experiments, Oakley has created a delicious gluten free, high protein, sugar free porridge which he is going to name Oakmeal.
- His favorite band is the Beatles and his dream is to join the tribute band American English. He has been hounding them since 2014 but has not received a call back.
- Every Saturday he takes the bus to Chicago to clean up litter on Oak Street Beach. The rest of the afternoon he lays out wearing only SPF 50, his Blu Blockers and a sombrero.
- With the fourth of July coming, Oakley knows that many of his buddies are scared of the sound of fireworks. He has been selling his handmade friendship bracelets for the past four months in order to purchase ear plugs and thunder shirts for his friends.
- Oakley’s future plans are to move to Oakland CA and become the mayor. Or stay put and work at Hobby Lobby part time. He hasn’t decided yet.
