Meet Gordy!
Gordy is a very handsome six-year-old black lab that has been attending Central Bark since June 2013. Gordy is as sweet as they come and one of our few clients that can play in either group [large or small]. Lately, he has preferred hanging out and chilling with the smaller/less rambunctious group along with his BFF Buddy; Buddy will snuggle up next to him for a mid-morning break. Below are some more fun facts about this majestic boy:
- Gordy is in the process of opening a little bow-tie shop in downtown Libertyville come Spring 2017. He plans on calling it Flash Gordy’s.
- Gordy once tried to be a patron at one of the revamped restaurants on Kitchen Nightmares, but Gordon Ramsey said “no dogs allowed.” Gordy immediately cancelled his lifetime membership to the celebrity chef’s fan club.
- His favorite actor is Kevin Bacon and he has worn out his DVDs of Tremors and Footloose from watching them too many times. He spent three days straight on his family/friend ancestry tree to see how he was related to the famous actor but alas, no luck.
- Gordy’s favorite comfort food is Taco Bell’s Cheesy Gordita Crunch (with a side of fiesta potatoes).
- The word gorgeous in doggie language means “to look like Gordy.”
- He is a big fan of 70s music and his favorite karaoke song is either “If You Could Read My Mind” by Gordon Lightfoot or “How Deep is Your Love” by the Bee Gees.
- Gordy loves his mama very much and he has been saving his allowance for two years to [hopefully] buy her a diamond heart bracelet from Jared’s The Galleria of Jewelry.
