Meet our Groomer, Kirstie!

A native of Charlotte, Kirstie is a lifelong animal lover and advocate with over a decade of experience in animal rescue, fostering, and rehoming. Her deep commitment to animal welfare has shaped both her personal life and professional path.

Since 2021, Kirstie has served as a full-time grooming technician at Central Bark, bringing several years of grooming experience to the role. She studied Veterinary Technology at Bergen Community College while training as a groomer and has since earned her certification in dog grooming.

Kirstie’s background in veterinary technology complements her grooming expertise, allowing her to prioritize each animal’s health, comfort, and well-being during every appointment. She strongly believes in individualized care—tailoring each session to meet the specific needs and temperaments of her clients. Her approach is rooted in compassion, patience, and a deep respect for the animals she works with.

A dedicated advocate for animal welfare, Kirstie has witnessed firsthand the importance of giving animals a voice, especially in environments where their well-being may be overlooked. She continues to be a driving force for positive change within the grooming and pet care industry.

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her spending time with her three rescue cats—or fostering a new litter of kittens in need of a loving start.
