Central Bark Oak Creek provides tailored dog training programs to address the specific needs of every dog. Our dog training services cover a wide range of skills and behaviors, such as:
- Name recall – This crucial skill is taught through positive reinforcement to ensure that dogs come when called, even in distracting environments.
- Basic commands – Dogs should know basic commands such as sit, stay, down, wait, and leave it. Our trainers use positive reinforcement techniques to teach these essential skills, which can help improve your dog’s behavior and make them easier to manage.
- Door and gate control – Teaching dogs to wait patiently at doors and gates can prevent them from running out into unsafe areas. Our trainers can teach dogs to enter and exit on cue while waiting peacefully at gates and doors.
- Loose-leash walking – Dogs that pull on the leash can be frustrating and even dangerous. Our trainers can help teach dogs to walk calmly on a loose leash, making walks more enjoyable for both the owner and the dog.
- Other behaviors – Our trainers can work with the owner and dog on other behaviors or issues such as separation anxiety, barking, or destructive chewing. Kristine
Manager
Kristine joined Central Bark Oak Creek in March 2025 as a part-time handler, bringing her background in customer service, management, and HR. Her passion and skills quickly stood out, leading to her promotion to manager in May. At home, she’s mom to two pups—Tetra and Jinx—and two kids, one into football and the other into dance and books. Kristine is dedicated to creating the best experience for dogs, families, and staff, and her love for this work shines through daily.
Marisa
Assistant Manager
Marisa’s Central Bark journey began in 2016 at the Milwaukee location, where she cared for Koren’s dogs, Macaroni and Cheese. During the pandemic, she became Koren’s household assistant and part of the family. In Aug 2025, she joined Oak Creek with Koren and her daughter, Winnefred. At home, Marisa loves her two pups, Pluto Alan and Ophelia Jean. With strong organizational skills and a passion for dogs, she aspires to be a trainer and open her own rescue.

Training Tutor
Personalized one-on-one training sessions during day care visits help your dog develop important skills and behaviors like name recall, sit, stay, down, wait, leave-it, door and gate control, and loose-leash walking. Excellent for your dog and easy for you! Your dog will come home tired and well-socialized, with the training and skills they need to be a well-behaved member of your family.
One-on-One Enrichment
Personalized One-on-One Enrichment sessions give your dog the extra attention they love and the freedom to use their senses and safely explore their instincts through interactive toys, puzzles, and games. It’s fun and rewarding and exercise their bodies and minds and engage their senses. Add complexity with fitness and agility equipment.
Rest Period Enrichment
Your dog gets to relax and recharge in their own private space with calming interactive toys and healthy food pairings tailored to their preferences and diet. It promotes physical and mental relaxation which can help them achieve a healthy balance of play, learning, and rest. It can also help them become more comfortable in crates by building positive associations.

Group Dog Training Classes

Puppy Preschool $180
In this class, we’ll help you and your puppy take your relationship and understanding of communication to the next level. With a focus on positive socialization, comfort conditioning, and confidence building, you’ll practice all the skills needed to support your puppy on their journey to the next stage of development!
*This class is for puppies between 8-16 weeks of age.
*Vaccinations required (DHPP and Bordetella).
Basic Life Skills $185
Grow your hands-on training and management skills with your dog, no matter their age! You’ll work on developing strong foundations for important life skills like recall, loose-leash walking, stationary behaviors, and relaxation around distractions.
Starting April 11th
*This class is for dogs of all ages.
*Vaccinations required (DHPP, Rabies (depending on age), and Bordetella).
*This class is not suitable for dogs who are reactive to other dogs or people.
