A Healthy Balanced Day

Enrichment Dog Day Care is dedicated to providing a healthy balance of play, exercise, socialization, learning, rest, and tender loving care. Our team customizes each day to your dog’s specific needs and preferences to nurture their bodies, minds, and senses, resulting in a healthy, happy, calm, and well-rounded companion at home.

  • Play, Exercise, and Socialization: Exercise helps dogs stay fit, tones muscles, uplifts mood, and channels physical and mental energy. Positive experiences with new humans, dogs, and environments help create happy and well-socialized dogs. We offer playgroups for all sizes, indoors and outdoors, tailored to your dog’s age, personality, and comfort.
  • Rest: Rest, relaxation, and recharging are crucial for a dog’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being after playing and socializing. Our daily schedule aims to maintain a healthy balance of rest, play, and learning while preventing overstimulation.
  • Learning: Dogs learn from humans and other dogs, and our trained staff use positive training techniques to promote safe play and help your dog practice healthy social behaviors while at day care. Dogs also teach each other appropriate social behavior.
  • Love: Your dog will become a part of our family and receive all the love and attention they need while you’re away. We create a bond with your dog to help them feel comfortable and confident. With regular attendance, we learn your dog’s personality, needs, and preferences, allowing us to recognize any moods, behavioral changes, or health issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Commitment to Safety

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests is our topmost priority. As fellow dog parents, we understand the importance of treating every dog as a member of our own family. Therefore, we are dedicated to providing a secure and healthy atmosphere for all who visit our facility.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enroll in Central Bark Doggy Day Care?

It’s easy! Just find your local store and click Enroll Now to create your online account and complete our online registration form or call the location to speak with an associate.

To speed up the registration process, please have available: veterinarian contact information, an emergency contact (other than yourself or your partner), pet information & medical history, and credit card information (optional). We will ask you a series of questions about your dog’s training and social history. These questions help us get to know them and provide the best care possible.

What should I bring to Doggy Day Care?

Once you have enrolled, we will need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records, which you can upload to your online account or bring with you on your scheduled first day. We also ask that your dog comes in on a regular 6-foot flat leash (no retractable or flexi-leads in the lobby) and a quick-release collar. Not sure what a quick-release collar is? No problem! We’ll be happy to show you on your first day. If your dog usually wears a harness while walking, you’re welcome to bring that as well.

If your dog typically eats a midday meal, you can bring it in an airtight container clearly labeled with your dog’s first and last names.

How Does Central Bark Handle Feeding for My Dog During the Day?

We are happy to accommodate your dog’s feeding schedule as part of their “Rest Period Enrichments.” Simply bring their food in pre-portioned containers with clear instructions. Our trained staff will ensure your dog receives their meal in a private, quiet space. We are also experienced in handling a variety of specific needs, including day care for dogs with allergies and medication administration, though additional fees may apply.

What are flexible playgroups?

Flexible playgroups allow us to match your dog with the social atmosphere and play schedule they can enjoy and benefit from most. This helps give them a healthy balance of play, rest, and learning and creates a safer social environment with a better quality of play. And our lower dog-to-staff ratios offer more individual attention, education, and love.
