Welcome to our January News Letter!
As we kick off a brand-new year, we are excited to continue providing a safe, enriching, and fun environment for your dogs at Central Bark Oak Creek. January brings fresh energy, winter activities, and new opportunities for learning and enrichment.
At the same time, we want to thank you for your continued trust in our team. We are truly grateful for our amazing pack and look forward to another wonderful year together. We can’t wait to share everything we have planned in the months ahead.
Dog of the Month: Pepper

For more than a year now, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of caring for Pepper nearly every day, and she truly feels like part of our family. Pepper is an absolute joy to have in our pack — sweet, silly, playful, and full of energy.
She has a wonderful way of making friends with everyone she meets, both human and canine, and she gets along beautifully with all of her daycare pals. Pepper’s happy spirit, gentle nature, and enthusiasm for each day make her a standout in our group.
Simply put, Pepper has a truly beautiful soul, and we are so grateful to spend our days with her. Congratulations to our January Dog of the Month — we love you, Pepper! 💜🐶
What’s Happening in January at Central Bark Oak Creek
As the holiday season winds down, we’re excited to kick off another fun and enriching year here at Central Bark Oak Creek. January is all about winter activities, special events, and getting ready for what’s ahead.
Whipped Cream Races – Week of January 5
Our biggest event this month is the Whipped Cream Races, happening the week of January 5. Dogs will compete in a friendly challenge to see who can finish their line of whipped cream the fastest. It’s a fun, lighthearted event that always brings big smiles and lots of laughs. Be sure to check out our Whipped Cream Races details for entry information and prizes.
Group Classes Coming Soon
We’re working toward launching group classes at our Oak Creek location in late January or early February. More details will be coming soon, and we’re excited to offer additional opportunities to support your dog’s learning, confidence, and enrichment.
Winter Wonderland One-on-One Enrichment
Our Winter Wonderland one-on-one enrichment sessions will be available throughout the entire month of January. These personalized activities are a great way to keep dogs mentally engaged and happy during the winter months.
Grooming Appointments
Grooming appointments are currently booking out about two weeks. We recommend submitting grooming requests early to secure your preferred date and time.
Whipped Cream Race Challenge
In honor of National Whipped Cream Day, we’re hosting our always-popular Whipped Cream Race Challenge the week of January 5 at Central Bark Oak Creek.
For a $5 entry fee, dogs can enter the bracket-style competition and race their friends to see who can finish their line of whipped cream the fastest. The bracket will be updated daily and posted on Facebook and in the lobby so everyone can follow along as the competition unfolds.
The winning pup will receive a free day of daycare or $35 in store credit.
This event is a fun, lighthearted way to add a little extra excitement to the daycare day, and it’s always a staff and pack favorite. If you’d like your dog to participate, be sure to let us know so we can get them added to the bracket.

Welcome to the Pack
December was a wonderful month for making new friends at Central Bark Oak Creek, and we were thrilled to welcome several new pups into our pack.
We welcomed Gizmo, who may be tiny but is certainly mighty, bringing confidence and personality wherever he goes. Pancake quickly stole hearts with her sweet nature and talkative charm, always happy to share her thoughts with friends and handlers alike. Vinny joined us full of energy and friendliness, ready to jump right into playtime and make new pals. And last but certainly not least, Presley captured everyone’s attention with her irresistibly adorable looks and lovable personality.
We’re so excited to have each of these pups as part of our Central Bark family and can’t wait to watch their friendships and confidence continue to grow.
