This young fellow is Zeus and is known as a Red Fox Lab. He’s considered a variation of the Yellow Lab though some might argue differently. Nevertheless, Zeus is his own dog. He is always enthusiastic and that energy translates into getting dogs to play who might otherwise just lounge around. He can encourage any dog, regardless of breed or size, to get up and “dance”. Zeus is a water dog, splashing water out of the pool. Like most labs, Zeus carries something in his mouth at all times. One of his favorite games is “find it”. He’ll look for anything whether it’s a treat, toy, water bottle or a handler’s glove. Given the opportunity Zeus will make himself comfortable in a lap if it’s available. Zeus’ joy is contagious and makes everyone, dog and human, feel better. Congratulations, Zeus, for being Oak Creek’s September Dog of the Month!
