A Healthy Balanced Day

Enrichment Dog Day Care is committed to providing a well-rounded experience for your furry friend. We recognize the individuality of each dog, tailoring their day to cater to their specific needs and preferences. Our ultimate objective is to nurture their bodies, minds, and senses, resulting in a healthy, happy, and well-balanced dog.

  • Our program offers a diverse range of activities, including playtime, exercise, socialization, learning, rest, and tender loving care. Exercise plays a vital role in maintaining your dog’s healthy weight, muscle tone, and overall mood, providing a healthy outlet for their physical and mental energy. Positive social experiences with humans, dogs, and different environments promote a well-rounded and socially adept dog. We provide both small and large playgroups in indoor and outdoor areas, designed to accommodate your dog’s age, personality, and comfort level.
  • Rest is crucial for your dog’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our daily schedule ensures a proper balance of rest, play, and learning, helping them avoid overstimulation and achieve optimal health.
  • Our highly trained staff utilizes positive training techniques to encourage safe play and foster healthy social behaviors. Dogs learn from humans and other dogs, and our guidance ensures they acquire appropriate social skills during their time at day care.
  • Lastly, we understand the significance of love and affection. Your dog becomes a part of our family, and we strive to develop a strong bond with each dog to help them feel comfortable and confident. Regular attendance allows us to understand your dog’s unique personality, needs, and preferences. This enables us to promptly recognize any changes, such as mood or behavior, that may indicate potential health issues.

Commitment to Safety

At Central Bark Dog Day Care, safety is our utmost priority. As fellow dog parents, we deeply comprehend the significance of creating a secure and healthy environment for all our furry guests. Treating every dog as if they were our own, we take immense pride in ensuring their well-being throughout their stay with us.

All 3 of my dogs love coming here. Each is an individual and treated and appreciated that way. I'm on my second generation of Central Bark-Mequon dogs, having experienced their compassion on the loss of the first one who introduced me to daycare. I can't imagine a better, safer, more [...]

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to Doggy Day Care?

Once you have enrolled, we will need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records, which you can upload to your online account or bring with you on your scheduled first day. We also ask that your dog comes in on a regular 6-foot flat leash (no retractable or flexi-leads in the lobby) and a quick-release collar. Not sure what a quick-release collar is? No problem! We’ll be happy to show you on your first day. If your dog usually wears a harness while walking, you’re welcome to bring that as well.

If your dog typically eats a midday meal, you can bring it in an airtight container clearly labeled with your dog’s first and last names.

What are One-on-One Enrichment sessions?

Our One-on-One Enrichment sessions give your dog the freedom to safely explore their senses with an Enrichment Specialist. They’ll get the personal attention they love, supplemented with interactive toys, puzzles, and games that exercise their bodies and minds. They can also level up their skills with fitness training and agility exercises if they’re ready for more.

Did you know? 15 minutes of mental activity is equal to 30 minutes of physical exercise!

Why choose doggy day care for your dog?

There’s no bond like the one between our furry best friends and us. We love our dogs and want to give them the best life possible. But it can be challenging to fulfill all their needs to stay healthy and happy for a lifetime. Doggy day care gives pups a place to play and learn in a safe environment, with the socialization, mental stimulation, and physical exercise their minds and bodies need to stay healthy for a lifetime.

  • Dogs get to socialize. Dogs are social creatures. Positive experiences with new humans, new dogs, and new environments are essential to a well-rounded pup.
  • Dogs learn social skills. Dogs learn from other dogs – they’re always teaching each other what is (and isn’t) appropriate social behavior. Doggy day care staff can also help support safe play and practice healthy social behaviors.
  • Dogs get more exercise. Exercise helps your dog maintain a healthy weight and muscle tone while improving their mood and providing a healthy outlet for their physical and mental energy, meaning they can be more relaxed at home.
  • Dogs get human attention. Your dog will get the care and love they need while you’re at work or school.
  • Parents get a break. Doggy day care can give you a day off from responsibilities, while your dog gets what they need to be a healthier, more well-adjusted pet.
