As the season of autumn approaches, we figure what better way to celebrate, than to crown the King of Halloween, Fred Kirchenburg, as our October dog of the month! Fred is famous for his awesome Halloween costumes at our yearly costume contest, which mom hand makes at home! Being that this contest is only one day out of the entire year, his mom is sure to have him in festive collars year round. His festive collars suit him well, being that Fred has a joyful personality. This little man is also known for his signature beagle bark/howl that announces his arrival every visit. He has been coming to Central Bark Mequon for just about ten years, so we all have become very fond of Fred’s announcements! His bark never fails to put a smile on the face of anyone in our facility, staff and parents alike. Fred is a sweet boy who loves to hang out with the staff, get belly rubs, and sing along to whatever is on the radio. Classic, country, or Today’s Hit’s, it doesn’t matter, if it’s playing, he is singing. Fred’s list of friends is a mile long, because, let’s face it, he’s quite the popular guy! His parents even threw a birthday party for him here at Central Bark so he had time to celebrate with all of his peeps! Some of his best pals include Gus L, Lucy L, Zoe J, Macy, and Coco. Fred has had the same routine for all of the years that we have known him. He arrives at the beginning of the day, hangs with his BFF’s and sings tunes throughout the day, at the end of the day Fred searches the nap room for one last treat crumb before he heads home for the evening. We have enjoyed everything about Fred over the years and have enjoyed having his parents as part of the Central Bark pack! We love you Fred Fred! Enjoy being the star of the month, you very much deserve it!
