“No heart loves like that of an old friend.” Our July dog of the month, Brownie, and his mom Christine are the oldest of friends and I believe they would agree with this lovely statement. Brownie is a just over thirteen year old Cocker Spaniel mix with sweet brown eyes that have only gotten more heartwarming over his nearly eleven years with us. Throughout that time, Brownie has always visited us at least once a week and his happy howls continue to put a smile on the faces of all he greets upon his entrance. Brownie enjoys spending his day catching up with old friends such as Cooper B., Pepe, and Riley B. during his time in our Mature Monday group. They are like the Golden Oldies of our daycare program, as they have all know each other for YEARS. On the occasion that mom has to take a trip she is happy to bring Brownie for a sleepover stay with us. She always sends him with a nice comfortable blanket, some yummy treats, and his favorite stuffed bunny. We love having this charming little guy in our program. He has the wonderful ability to get along with nearly every dog he meets and the staff truly adores him. We really appreciate Christine sharing Mr. Brownie with us throughout these many years, we’ve bonded so much with you guys and look forward to continuing to strengthen it over many more! Congratulations Brownie, you are one amazing pup!
