Meet Scout! Scout is a beautiful five-year-old golden doodle that has been coming to Central Bark since she was eleven months old. Upon her arrival, she will pull mom or dad through our doors and give a huge hug to some lucky person that greets her. Below are some more fun “Scoutisms:”
– Scout used to model for Tresemme but quit because she didn’t appreciate the pay. Instead of delicious treats, they were giving her boring pieces of green paper with dead presidents on them.
– Christmas is Scout’s favorite time of year. She spends her Fridays in front of Jewel representing the Salvation Army and always participates in Operation Christmas Child at her church.
– When she was younger she was a Girl Scout but quit because she didn’t like the color of the uniform. She still owes the organization $30 for cookies she ate.
– Scout’s celebrity crushes include Tom Selleck and Burt Reynolds. She alternates between the two depending on her mood.
– Scout plays the xylophone in an all-female R&B group called “The Goldendoodle Girls.” As the band’s manager, she has been calling local venues and there is a chance they could land a gig at Kawa in Grayslake on Tuesday afternoons at two o’clock every other month.
– This past Halloween, she dressed up as Chachi Arcola from Happy Days just so she could refer to herself as Scout Baio all day.
