Meet the beautiful Mabel, also affectionately known as Marbles!! Mabel is a Great Dane that has been coming to Central Bark since she was just six months old and we have had the wonderful opportunity of watching this beauty grow and blossom into the majestic queen that she is today. Below are some more fun “facts” about Mabel (compiled from our wonderful dog handlers):
– She will only wear eyeliner from the Maybelline collection. In the attached picture she is wearing “Midnight Desire.”
– If Mabel had thumbs, her favorite game would be marbles…duh!!!
– She was once mistaken for an anorexic cow; since then she often takes weekend trips to Madison, Wisconsin to beg for cheese.
– If Mabel could talk, she would tell us that she’s not a Great Dane but the Greatest Dane!
– Her favorite comedian is Dane Cook.
– Mabel has a serious sweet tooth and her favorite desserts include strawberry Danish or an occasional marble cake!
– Her favorite song by the Eurhythmics is ‘Here Comes the Rain Again.’ She substitutes the word “rain” with “Dane” and we can often hear her singing in her crate during nap time.
– Her favorite band of all time is the Bee Gees…just because.
– Mabel’s hobbies include skeet shooting and making decorative soaps; her favorite scent is lavender beef.
