February is commonly known as the month of love and that is why we have selected Tipper as our February dog of the month. Tipper is an eight year old retriever mix who has been coming to Central Bark since November 2007. He’s a big boy with an even bigger heart and has been known to charm the ladies with his suave ways. He prefers the longer haired girls (i.e. Star the Collie mix or Blue the Australian Shepard) however, if they are not around he will work his “magic” on the handlers to assure himself plenty of scratches and affection for the day. Not only is Tipper a big lover, he is quite amusing. When Tipper has the need to scratch his back he will do so by lying on the ground with his arms and legs in the air moving them around as if riding an imaginary bicycle. Trust us when we tell you it is good entertainment. In the summer months you will most likely find Tipper sprawled out on a table catching some rays. He can be quite the talker and is not shy about letting mom know all about his day when pick-up time arrives. Thanks for your affections and for making us smile Tipper.
