Ailey
Store Manager
Ailey began working at Central Bark Franklin as a dog handler in July 2023, then quickly climbed the ranks becoming our Store Manager in March of 2026. Central Bark is her favorite place to be because she loves working with the pups. She finds them smart, silly and enjoys getting to know each one! Ailey doesn’t currently have any pets but would love to get a Golden Retriever someday. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and painting pottery.
Makenna
Assistant Manager
Hello, my name is Makenna. I have been working at Central Bark since July of 2023. I love getting to know all of your pups and learning their unique personalities. I have two dogs, Scooby and Milo. I also have a cat named Mowgli. My favorite dog breed is beagles, but I might be biased since I own two. I have been an animal lover since I was young, and this is the perfect fit for me. In my free time I enjoy reading and painting pottery!

I also really like the retail space here, and the services they offer. I’ve been able to get Ace’s nails trimmed here a few times before pickup which I really appreciate- and they’re the only ones who have been able to do it without him getting nervous!
I appreciate Central Bark Franklin and all that you guys do! Thank you Central Bark team!
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! When your dog spends the night with us, we do everything we can to ensure your dog has a safe place where they can feel well-rested.
Sleepovers at Central Bark® offer your dog a calm, relaxing sleepover in a place they can feel comfortable and loved. Because they’re in a familiar place, they can feel less stressed about being away from home (and so will you). A full day of Doggy Day Care is included with your sleepover stay.
No matter how long you’ve had your dog, it’s possible to teach them new skills and tricks.
Whether you’re crate training, leash walking, or potty training your dog, consistency is key. It’s crucial to establish a routine, practice positive reinforcement, supervise your dog (especially when potty training), and avoid punishing when mistakes happen.
Central Bark® offers everything you need to help you train your dog. We offer expert training and classes so you and your puppy can learn and bond together.

Our top priority is the safety of every dog in our care. Our staff members are not only highly trained but also “fluent in dog speak,” which means they can read canine body language and behavior cues. Our rigorous dog day care safety protocols use a science-based positive reinforcement approach to constantly monitor and manage play. We believe in proactive and preventative care, working to de-escalate potential issues before they start, which is a key part of how dog day care handles disagreements and maintains a secure environment for all dogs.
Not at all! It’s never too early or too late to begin building positive associations and using reward-based methods to teach your puppy new skills and behaviors.
Establish a training schedule now to help your puppy learn desired behaviors like walking nicely on a leash and basic cues like sit, stay, and loose-leash walking. Practicing these skills at home is critical, but it’s always a good idea to enlist the help of a professional to get a jump start teaching your puppy all the things you want them to know and set them up for success! Central Bark® offers everything you need to help you train your dog, including expert training and classes, so you and your puppy can learn and bond together.
