Our dog of the month is lucky to be living a life of ease. See, Duke is a German Shepherd and a lot of his cousins work on the police force, in the military, and in disability assistance. That’s because German Shepherds are prized for their intelligence, strength, and loyalty. We often see demonstrations of this loyalty when German Shepherds give their well-known squeal of excitement upon seeing their family.
Duke takes full advantage of his good fortune. He is a very active dog. Duke can regularly be seen climbing the play equipment and splashing in the pools. He loves the water and often doesn’t wait for it to reach the pool; Duke goes straight for the spray as we fill it.
