If you’ve got a new puppy, this might be the cutest night of your fall. On Wednesday, October 28, from 7 to 8pm, we’re turning our regular Puppy Hour into a Halloween party, and your pup is invited!
What to Expect
Puppy Hour is a free, supervised playtime for puppies 8 to 24 weeks old. For the Halloween party, bring your puppy in their cutest costume for photos and puppy-friendly trick-or-treating, then let them romp around with other puppies their age. It’s free, it’s adorable, and you don’t need to be a Central Bark client to come.
Why Puppies This Age?
Between 8 and 24 weeks of age is the window when early socialization matters most. Meeting new dogs and humans in a calm, supervised setting helps puppies grow into confident, comfortable adult dogs. Puppy Hour gives puppy owners in the Naperville and Aurora area an easy, low-pressure way to start. It’s also a great opportunity for you to meet other puppy owners in the area, too!
Costume Tips for a Safe, Happy Pup
Costumes are totally optional, and a puppy in their regular fur is just as welcome. If you do dress your pup up, please keep safety in mind:
- Skip anything with chewable parts.
- Avoid pieces that drag on the ground.
- After we take photos, you can take the costume off your pup for safer playtime.
What You Need to Know Before You Come
Puppies must be 8 to 24 weeks old. Preregistration is required, along with proof of Bordetella and DHPP vaccines. We’re located conveniently at 4389 Fox Valley Center Drive in Aurora, just outside the Fox Valley Mall.
Can’t Make the Party?
Puppy Hour happens at Central Bark every Wednesday from 7 to 8pm, so you can join us any week!
