What Dog Owners in Atlanta Say About Central Bark
I brought my dog to Central Bark Atlanta two years ago after seeing an advertisement for their Puppy Hour program. I was very impressed by the staff and the facilities, and my dog had a great time with other well behaved puppies.
Since then I have continued to bring my dog for Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming services. My dog has learned to be more social and how to play nicely and safely with other dogs and people, while also being well groomed. And all of this done in a safe environment where all of the dogs are well behaved and friendly. I am continually impressed by the staff being not just professional but warm and welcoming to my dog.
I would strongly recommend anyone looking for Daycare, Boarding, or Grooming Services to visit Central Bark Atlanta. And if you have a new puppy, visit them for Puppy Hour on Saturdays.

Love this place. My pup runs to the door with tons of enthusiasm!
I’m keeping my rating because I love our groomer, Nick.. however every time I call to schedule grooming there’s always a new issue and it’s becoming old. Please stick by the same scheduling rules!!!!!
Update 5/27/2026 – I tried various other boarding and day care places for my dog, but she did not seem to enjoy it as much as central bark! My puppy was always so excited and happily went into the central bark facilities. I will be bringing her back!
I’ve really tried to give Central Bark multiple chances, but after several disappointing experiences, I can no longer justify bringing my dog—or my money—here.
On two separate occasions, I picked up my dog with a strong smell of pee and literal poop all over her coat, which is completely unacceptable for a daycare setting. During another stay, I was supposed to receive a report card, which never came.
While I do appreciate that management has reached out after every incident, the repeated issues combined with the price increases make it clear that the quality of service does not match what they’re charging.
Today was the final straw. I came in for a groom and was quoted one price, only to be charged something totally different at checkout—including a matting fee even though my dog did not have matting. I ended up paying $75 for essentially a bath and blow dry, as the cut was not done how I asked, and the front desk employee had a noticeably poor attitude. They didn’t even attempt to rebook me or make things right.
Because of all this, I’ve decided to cancel my membership and take my dog elsewhere. I really wanted to love Central Bark, but the inconsistency, lack of care, and sub-par service have made that impossible.
