Megan deserves a raise! She is the best and always does such a fantastic job with Gretyl and her stubbornness. Seriously, she does such a good job each time!

Y’all were incredible!!! We were so nervous leaving our sweet girl for our vacation. But y’all made her so happy! We can tell she was well taken care of and had a blast! She will definitely be back!

Central Bark in Amarillo is the nicest place. I call, and they are always friendly, they remember Ava, and can get her in when I need them to. I can't clip Ava's nails, the vet had to put a muzzle on Ava to clip her nails. Meagan clips Ava's nails [...]

Everyone at this facility very friendly. We have been looking for years for a nice clean place for our dogs and we have finely found a great place. Thanks Central Bark keep up the good work.

Mavis seems to really like Central Bark.  The pics I see on Instagram show her quite active with other dogs, and she comes home in the evening extremely tired.  I know she has played all day and she loves playing with other dogs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to Doggy Day Care?

Once you have enrolled, we will need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records, which you can upload to your online account or bring with you on your scheduled first day. We also ask that your dog comes in on a regular 6-foot flat leash (no retractable or flexi-leads in the lobby) and a quick-release collar. Not sure what a quick release collar is? No problem! We’ll be happy to show you on your first day. If your dog usually wears a harness while walking, you’re welcome to bring that as well.

If your dog typically eats a midday meal, you can bring it in an airtight container clearly labeled with your dog’s first and last names.

How long does it take to potty train a puppy?

When potty training your pup, consistency is key. It’s crucial to establish a routine, practice positive reinforcement, supervise your puppy (especially when potty training), and avoiding punishing your puppy when mistakes happen.

Potty training a puppy to eliminate outside can take just a few weeks or several months. But it will go more quickly if your training routine is consistent, and you’re consistent about taking your puppy outside every few hours.

Central Bark® offers everything you need to help you train your puppy. We offer expert training and classes so you and your puppy can learn and bond together.

What are Rest Period Enrichments?

Rest periods can be paired with fun and interactive food toys (like a frozen peanut butter Kong) to create a rest period enrichment activity for your dog.

Not only are rest period enrichments fun and mentally stimulating for your dog, but they also help build positive associations and crating skills. Hence, dogs are calmer, quieter, and more relaxed. For dogs, being comfortable in a crate is a life skill that is incredibly useful for them and their owners.

Did you know? Scientific studies have shown that licking and chewing behaviors (especially those that involve food rewards!) are self-soothing, decrease heart and respiratory rates, and even release dopamine in a dog’s brain.

What is the best dog food?

The best dog food will vary depending on each dog’s dietary requirements, medical needs, breed, and personal preferences.

Every item in our Central Bark® Market is specially selected to enhance your dog’s physical health and nutrition, and provide enrichment, happiness, and comfort.
