A Well-Balanced, Healthy Day
Our goal is to cultivate their physical, mental, and sensory well-being, ensuring you have a content, joyful, serene, and all-around dog companion at home.
- Play, Exercise, and Socialization – Physical activity aids in keeping your dog’s weight in check and muscles robust. It additionally elevates their spirits and offers an avenue for expending energy, leading to a calmer disposition at home. Our offerings encompass secure indoor and outdoor play areas, with both small and large playgroups tailored to your dog’s age, temperament, and comfort.
- Rest – Rest is a vital component of your dog’s physical, mental, and emotional health. Following play and social interaction, they require moments of relaxation and rejuvenation. Our daily routine emphasizes a harmonious blend of rest, play, and learning, ensuring optimal well-being by averting overstimulation and fostering holistic health.
- Learning – Dogs acquire skills from people and other canines; our knowledgeable staff helps them through constructive training methods. They instruct your dog in safe play and promote beneficial relationships. Dogs at our daycare facility in Sussex continuously learn new habits and social skills from their fellow dogs.
- Love – Your dog will become part of our family and get all the love and attention they need while you’re away. We develop a bond with your dog to help them feel comfortable and confident. With regular attendance, we get to know your dog’s personality, needs, and preferences. We are better able to recognize things that might otherwise go unnoticed, like moods, behavioral changes, or even health issues.
Commitment to Safety
The safety and well-being of your dog are our top priorities. As fellow dog parents, we recognize the significance of treating each dog as a cherished member. Our commitment lies in establishing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all who come to our facility.

Peter, the manager, is awesome to work with. He’s super accommodating and always finds a way to get my dogs scheduled. We’ve got them on a routine now which makes everything really easy.
Alyssa does a phenomenal job with both of my dogs, a Labradoodle and an Australian Shepherd. My Aussie can be pretty anxious,, so I was a little worried at first, but they’ve handled him incredibly well. They’re patient, know what they’re doing, and you can tell they actually care about the dogs.
I’ve never had a bad experience here. The whole team is great and always quick to respond if I have any questions.
Really appreciate Peter, Alyssa, and the entire staff.
Frequently Asked Questions
There’s no bond like the one between our furry best friends and us. We love our dogs and want to give them the best life possible. But it can be challenging to fulfill all their needs to stay healthy and happy for a lifetime. Doggy day care gives pups a place to play and learn in a safe environment, with the socialization, mental stimulation, and physical exercise their minds and bodies need to stay healthy for a lifetime.
- Dogs get to socialize. Dogs are social creatures. Positive experiences with new humans, new dogs, and new environments are essential to a well-rounded pup.
- Dogs learn social skills. Dogs learn from other dogs – they’re always teaching each other what is (and isn’t) appropriate social behavior. Doggy day care staff can also help support safe play and practice healthy social behaviors.
- Dogs get more exercise. Exercise helps your dog maintain a healthy weight and muscle tone while improving their mood and providing a healthy outlet for their physical and mental energy, meaning they can be more relaxed at home.
- Dogs get human attention. Your dog will get the care and love they need while you’re at work or school.
- Parents get a break. Doggy day care can give you a day off from responsibilities, while your dog gets what they need to be a healthier, more well-adjusted pet.
It’s easy! Just find your local store and click Enroll Now to create your online account and complete our online registration form or call the location to speak with an associate.
To speed up the registration process, please have available: veterinarian contact information, an emergency contact (other than yourself or your partner), pet information & medical history, and credit card information (optional). We will ask you a series of questions about your dog’s training and social history. These questions help us get to know them and provide the best care possible.
Our top priority is the safety of every dog in our care. Our staff members are not only highly trained but also “fluent in dog speak,” which means they can read canine body language and behavior cues. Our rigorous dog day care safety protocols use a science-based positive reinforcement approach to constantly monitor and manage play. We believe in proactive and preventative care, working to de-escalate potential issues before they start, which is a key part of how dog day care handles disagreements and maintains a secure environment for all dogs.
Once you have enrolled, we will need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records, which you can upload to your online account or bring with you on your scheduled first day. We also ask that your dog comes in on a regular 6-foot flat leash (no retractable or flexi-leads in the lobby) and a quick-release collar. Not sure what a quick-release collar is? No problem! We’ll be happy to show you on your first day. If your dog usually wears a harness while walking, you’re welcome to bring that as well.
If your dog typically eats a midday meal, you can bring it in an airtight container clearly labeled with your dog’s first and last names.
