Prior to purchasing Central Bark, Michael was in retail management while Lisa was a medical coder and a certified pet groomer. Groomer
Katie has been grooming dogs for over 15 years and brings a wealth of experience, skill, and heart to the grooming table. They have a special love for working with puppies and helping them build confidence early on, as well as nervous or first-time pups who need a little extra patience and care. Katie specializes in breed-specific cuts and takes pride in tailoring each groom to fit the dog’s personality and lifestyle.
Kaitlin
Groomer
Kaitlin has been grooming since 2011, bringing over a decade of experience, care, and skill to every pup. She loves terriers, especially scruffy ones, and has a knack for bringing out each dog’s best. She enjoys de-sheds and the satisfying transformations they bring. Kaitlin approaches every appointment with patience and love. At home, she has an 8-year-old Lab, Cedric Doggory, her loyal sidekick.

Even with such a proactive approach to safety as described above, scuffles between dogs can and do happen from time to time. Although this is a rare occurrence, dogs are animals and don’t always talk about whose tennis ball it is. If a scuffle does occur, staff are trained to intervene immediately by making a loud noise and separating the dogs involved as quickly as possible. For most dogs enrolled in our program, this is enough to stop the situation. If needed, we are also equipped with squirt bottles and a hose. Any dog involved in a scuffle will receive a cursory body check and play break to calm down.
Dog grooming helps keep your dog clean, healthy, and comfortable. It can include anything from a simple brush-out or bath to a full spa day, complete with a grooming session and nail care.
