Meet Indy, October’s Dog of the Month! When she first started, she wasn’t exactly sure what to make of us humans. While she allowed us to pet and socialize with her, she much preferred the company of dogs. She would race outside to play with her newfound friends without looking back. Then slowly, Indy began to realize, that, hey, you people are great! With each passing visit, she showed more and more interest in us until finally, the light bulb went off! These people LOVE me! They give me treats, rub my belly, give me scratches behind my ears, but best of all…they fill the pool with water! Oh, how Indy loves to "dig" out all the water in the pool. Sometimes Indy and her best friend Wembley have contests to see who can splash it out the fastest. So far it’s a tie. Once she feels the water has reached sufficient "Indy" level, she tiredly plops down and tries to catch the waves she’s created. Moving on to her playlist, she also enjoys gallivanting around with her pals Charlie, Retta, Bella, Jovi, Duke, Laila, Lewy, Miss E, Truman, Lando, Stella, Kubrick, Charlie Jack, Marshmallow and of course, Wembley. It’s no wonder she comes twice a week-where else would all that energy go?! We can’t imagine a week without her. Congratulations Indy, you deserve your month in the spotlight!
