If you think you hear a Tauntaun here at the Northside, chances are you are hearing our April dog of the month, Duke! This strapping three year old boxer has been a daycare regular since he was a little squishy puppy and has loved every day! He has made countless friends over the years anywhere from little guys like Oliver, Georgia, and Bella, to the bigger guys like Lewy, Bart, and Grover. Duke is a character! He is one of the goofiest and most fun boxers you will ever meet! One of the many comical things he does is snooze on the play equipment and use the window as a pillow (which lends for great photos)! Duke loves rolling around on the ground while making grumbling noises which, without fail, gets his friends over to play with him! When Duke isn’t playing with his friends, he loves getting tons of pets from the handlers and will wiggle his whole behind in excitement, and so he lets the handlers know he wants his butt scratche d! When the day is over, Duke lounges in his crate until it is time to go home. When Mom or Dad stops in to pick up this “handsome pants”, he comes out, behind wiggling, ready to go home and lounge the night away. Congratulations Duke for being our April dog of the month and resident comedian!!
