: No need to look to the night sky, we’ve got a Comet right here at the Northside, and he’s our August Dog of the Month! Comet has been coming to us since he was a puppy and we’ve had the privilege to see him grow into the strapping young lab he is. When Comet walks through our doors his whole body is wiggling and ready to play right away! Don’t let this exuberance fool you; the second his mom or dad tells him to sit he takes a seat instantly. His parents have worked very hard to get this guy to be the obedient dog he is today, and you sure can tell. He’s one of our star pupils! Comet’s favorite thing to do to beat the heat is to hop in the pool and take a cool swim with one of his many buddies. He loves splashing around with Cash, Bart, Bailey, Lady, Marshmallow, and Lewy. His mom and dad know us employees need help keeping cool too, so they treat us to popsicles, ice cream, and Gatorade on hot days! Comet doesn’t fizzle out when the day is over. He comes wiggling out to mom and dad in anticipation of a fun car ride home, lots of pets, and a nice bed to curl up in. Congratulations Comet for being our August dog of the month! You’ve earned it buddy!
