Summerfest, brats&brews, and the sweet Milwaukee sunshine may be the thrills of your summer, but here on the Eastside we’re rolling out the pools, hoses, sunglass, and umbrellas! There’re plenty of dogs that come to mind when we think ‘fun in the sun’ and ‘smiles for miles’, but if every dog has his day- Mr. Kirk deserves the whole month! Congratulations to the spotty dotty boy for his summertime reign as Dog of the Month July. Kirk started his daycare career as an infant puppy, and became fast friends with pup’s like Daisy, Storm, Duke, and Cooper! Easy his favorite summertime pastime is pool time, there’s nothing like the spray of the hose and the orange of group 1’s wet red-rocks on a white coat. Kirk is regular in the salon for this knack of getting dirty, but what is summertime for if not getting a little wild with your favorite friends!? Kirk’s now a settled, esteemed member among group 2’s mayhem, coining himself “Captain Kirk” when he takes his perch atop the play equipment. His favorite activities (in all temps) include leading group chases, chasing toys, and cuddling with his favorite handlers! It’s been a joy watching you grow up, Kirk, congratulations!
