Meet the Mighty Ruby! This agile, 2 year old Golden Retriever dynamo could leap tall buildings in a single bound(if we’d let her, that is). She is literally bursting with personality and is one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet. Sociable & outgoing, Ruby could charm her way into anyone’s heart and indeed, already has. Just being around her can put you in a good mood. We love that she can find joy in even the tiniest of things. Walking for example. While we probably see this as a way to get from point A to point B, Ruby puts her heart and soul into it, pulling, bucking, twisting and turning, as if she’s creating an interpretive dance to let us know exactly the happiness she’s feeling. But for all that excitement, she knows there is only way Mom or Dad will give her attention, so after this exhaustive display, she sits quietly and waits for their command to be released and receive the reward for her good behavior. Ruby is also an avid wrestler, runner, toy fetcher & swimmer, so she never runs out of things to do at day care! We are convinced that if there was a doggy triathlon, not only would she enter the contest, but she would take 1st place. Her zest for life, sweet disposition and exuberance for everything she does, makes her hands down, our choice for December’s Dog of the Month. Congratulations! Don’t ever change, Ruby, we love you just the way you are!
