Barking in a winter wonderland… We’re sure that sounds like fun to our December Dog of the Month Gertie, who is an avid snow lover! This time of year, her motto is ‘let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!’ Gertie is a happy go lucky 5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, who has been with us since she was a young pup of just a few months. She is a fun-loving girl who loves to share her passion for play with all she meets. Some of her besties include Scout F, Annie, Eddie, and Tess, just to name a few. Her favorite time of the year is when she is romping in the snow, playing tag with friends and catching up on the latest CB news at the very top of the snow mounds! When it’s time to come indoors for more indoor play, she has a standoff with her Enrichment Specialists, thinking this will buy her more time! What a silly pup! Her BFF, Scout, is also a snow lover, hence forming their special bond. Watching these play bow and bounce around in the snow is so heartwarming and puts a smile on the faces of all who witness their shenanigans. Thank you for always brightening our day Gertie, you are absolutely the best. Enjoy being Queen of the snow mound (when the snow comes, that is), this month belongs to you!
