If you’ve ever seen a Boxer try to sit while wiggling their entire body at the same time…. then you’ve
met Iris.
Iris, our three-year-old bundle of joy from our infamous Tiggers group, is the definition of energetic, playful, and extra wiggly. She absolutely loves to play and keeps the energy high from the moment she arrives. Whether she’s bouncing around with her friends or flashing her big Boxer smile, Iris brings nonstop enthusiasm to every day she’s here.
One of our favorite Iris moments? Her sit before heading back. She knows she has to sit…. but her excitement takes over. Between the staff and her parents, you’ll often hear, “Iris, sit!” repeated a few times as she wiggles so hard it’s nearly impossible for her to stay still. The effort is there, the wiggles just win.
And when it’s time to go home, Iris makes sure no one is forgotten. She has to say goodbye to every staff member, getting in her sniffs and soaking up all the attention before finally heading out the door (usually after a few “Iris, come on!” reminders). She just loves her people.
Iris’s joyful spirit, playful energy, and constant happiness make her such a special part of our Central Bark family. We are so lucky to have her and can’t wait to celebrate her all month long!
