Meet the team behind Central Bark Fort Walton Beach: Daniel and Jossalyn, proud locals with a shared passion for pets and community.

Jossalyn brings expertise in veterinary technology and real estate entrepreneurship, holding an associate’s degree in both fields. Meanwhile, Daniel, a Florida native and veteran, holds associates in aviation operations and maintenance technology. He’s currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship.

Both are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, ensuring your furry friends are in safe hands. At home, they share their lives with Mini, a Staffordshire Terrier; Maisy, an Australian Shepherd; and Peanut, a lovable cattle dog mix.

Their vision for Central Bark arose from a desire to provide a space they’d love for their own dogs—a place dedicated to enhancing the lives of both pets and their owners. Now, they’re thrilled to merge their entrepreneurial spirit with their love for canine care, eager to serve the Fort Walton Beach community.

Kobe (my Frenchie) acts like he works here now 😂 The second we pull up, he forgets I exist. That alone tells me everything I need to know.

The staff is amazing, super caring, and clearly loves the dogs. Kobe comes home exhausted, happy, and living his best life every time.

Honestly feels like I’m dropping him off at a doggy resort. 10/10 would recommend 🐶

The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for the dogs’ comfort and safety. One of the things I appreciate most is how thoroughly they vet all dogs—it gives me complete peace of mind knowing my pups are in a safe, controlled environment.

Their grooming services are top-notch, and it’s incredibly convenient to have everything in one place. The location is easy and accessible, which makes drop-offs and pick-ups seamless.

We unexpectedly were required to board our dog when we arrived at Ft Walton Beach. First time our dog required boarding. Called Central Bark and Joslyn answered and went way above and beyond to help us. She even stayed over closing time to accommodate our needs.
The facility was spotless clean. Received daily updates with pictures of our dog and his daily activities. I can’t express how pleased and thankful we were to locate such a great place. I would highly recommend Central Bark to anyone needing boarding facilities for their dog!
