October is a spooky month. And Bruno the Ridgeback knows the spookiest thing in the world is water! Unlike our last couple dogs of the month, Bruno knows water should be confined to drinking bowls. Hoses and pools are best left alone. Instead, Bruno likes people. Every time he visits Central Bark, he insists on individually greeting each team member.
Bruno is one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet. His face is almost always wearing a doggie-smile while his tail wags furiously. In some places, Bruno’s tail would be registered as a weapon. Bruno gets along with his furry friends also, especially Nitro and other active dogs.
Ridgebacks come from the pairing of European hunting dogs with African guard dogs during the 1800’s. While different dog lovers have vigorously debated their classification, everyone agrees they are athletic dogs with wonderful temperaments when given plenty of positive feedback.
