Xander The Giant is September Dog of the Month Yes, Xander truly is a giant – a giant Schnauzer. While he is still not full-size, he is going to be a bigggg boy when fully grown! But, the biggest part of Xander is his heart. This sweet dog is loved by everyone, particularly his "parents" Scott and Joe. (They are pretty lovable, too!) Xander’s breed is known for its intelligence and ruggedness and Xander certainly has those qualities. They are a useful and poweful breed and Xander shows those traits when cavorting in the pool. His love of water and frolicing have earned him the nickname of "Pool Boy!" Maybe he should wear a Speedo… Exercise and play are important to this breed and Xander gets his share of both because he comes to Central Bark five days a week. The weekends are spent being spoiled by Joe and Scott because Xander is their baby and and they dote on him. All dogs should be this lucky. Congratulations to Xander, our September Dog of the Month.
