Who doesn’t love America’s top dog breed, the Labrador Retriever? We do – especially one Yellow Lab named Sydney, our November Dog of the Month! The Lab has been listed by the American Kennel Club as the number one breed in the United States for a number of years, including last year! Probably because they are kindly, gentle, outgoing, non-aggressive, intelligent and eager to please. What more can you ask for in a dog? Sydney is all of these things and more. This photo says it all. Sydney is always in the middle of everything! She is pictured with Midas to her right and nose-to-nose with Nala. Jackson D is putting in a cameo appearance to the right rear. Sydney loves them all and the feeling is mutual. Sydney’s “mother” is Laura, who does not put up with bad habits! She has worked very hard to break Sydney of her compulsive counter-surfing and she did it with love and rewards and spoiled Sydney with Sweet Spots at naptime! However, Laura won’t let those treats spoil Sydney’s figure. Laura takes Sydney along with her on her daily runs and they both look terrific. Laura is very attractive and slender and was wearing a lovely red dress one day when picking up Sydney. The pair looked stunning as they walked out of Central Bark; Laura in her red dress and Sydney in her matching red collar. Both are happy and healthy and Sydney is also our November Dog of the Month and deserves your congratulations!
